There is no better time than the present When we have lost everything You can not trust the past And the future is a lie A ticking clock held in your hands Memories of power on the floor They ramble and clatter as you move about Tripping you along your way A vision of the future blinds you A false prophet in your ear Such sweet stories told onto you And then you lose your footing A sharp fall into the dark Marked only by the present There is something in your hands It is a gift

Low voices in the night, Whisper secrets to my heart. They promise love and lust; Impressing happiness in my mind. A sweet caress gently turns, Into a fierce embrace of binding souls. There is power and heat in this hold. The darkness envelops us both. Now as spirits we softly fall, In a pit of endless frost. Will we ever reach the close? To this day it is still unknown.

I walked down Holy Halls Throwing my voice against the walls But all I heard echo back Were cries of Sin and Despair Wickedness sang through God’s choir And Vice from the Father’s sermon Rows and rows of Damnation Filled the decrepit pews The Devil is at the door A single red rose in hand Shadows encircle the Holy Ground Though it is holy no more The Angels abandon us now Their grace leaving this Earth I greet him with a hesitant smile As I pull open the heavy door The Devil shines bright And my blood runs cold The Morning Star is truly A wonder to behold

The storm is passing Yet I am not done It's still not time To bathe in the sun I chase the clouds Across the Earth I give it my all For all it's worth

You should know, I Am going to be alright. No longer do I cry; I have won the fight, That raged inside my heart. I escaped my crucifying chains, Which you placed in me from the start. No longer shall I feel pain; I have set myself free. Now it is time for me to venture, Out into the world, bravely. However, everything looks much darker, With out you by my side.

There's a runner in the garden Leaving footprints in the earth Rain beating down upon him Until he slips into the dirt Now he's laying by the roses Being whipped by fearsome winds He stares up as the moon shines on The light disappearing from his eyes Now is his turn to slumber While being buried in the ground Where he'll fertilize the roses And he'll stay forever more Never to be found

I let the darkness swallow me And pursued the music that beckoned within I heeded its demand and began to dance My body commenced to curve and camber Following the groove set before me I became a marionette for him My body moved from left to right Hips swaying to an invisible ebb and flow The music accelerated and I followed suit His grip faltered and I started to spiral My rotations decelerated as I became tangled Finished with me he severed my strings Thrust back into the light There wasn't a sound to be heard I was never more then just a doll Discarded like the rest of his toys
